Equipment Introduction:

The Octopus Drum Washer is an automated cleaning device specifically designed for soft aquatic products like octopus. It removes surface mucus, sediment, and impurities through physical tumbling, friction, and hydraulic flushing.
Equipment Workflow:
Octopus is fed into the drum through the inlet → Drum rotation causes the octopus to tumble and rub against each other → Spray system flushes away surface contaminants → Impurities are discharged through sieve holes → After cleaning, the baffle is removed, and the octopus slides out through the discharge port.
Working Principle:
The main cleaning area consists of a sieve drum made of 304 stainless steel, with spiral lifting rings or arc-shaped paddles on the inner wall to promote tumbling and gradual forward movement. The motor drives the drum rotation via chains or gears. The discharge port is equipped with removable water-blocking baffles and filtration baffles.
